An avid outdoorsman, when I moved to the west coast in 1999 I thought it would be a good idea to find out about this plant called poison-oak. I ran across William Gillis 433 page “The Systematics and Ecology of Poison-Ivy and the Poison-Oaks”, studied it, and made myself the area expert on poison-oak since 2000.
